The VZ bonded anchor consists of the VZ-P styrene-free injection mortar cartridge and the V-A anchor rod. The VZ bonded anchor has European Technical Assessment for cracked and uncracked concrete.

Application area:

For anchoring heavy loads in cracked and uncracked concrete:

Steel structures, staircase railings, racks, base plates, supports, brackets, guard rails, noise control barriers, fixtures in cold stores.

Installation is quick and easy:

After inserting the injection mortar cartridge into the cleaned drill hole, the V-A anchor rod is driven in using a hammer drill. Since the bonded reaction is only triggered once the anchor rod has been driven in, the injection mortar cartridge and anchor rod can be placed independently of each other, meaning that it is possible to take work breaks without causing any problems. This makes the VZ bonded anchor ideal for series installation. The very short curing time allows for rapid installation of heavy components without long waiting times.

Field of Application:

Application of the VZ bonded anchor is permitted with a concrete temperature between -20°C and +40°C, meaning it can be used in indoor and outdoor applications all year round and is also ideally suited for use in cold stores.

Advantages:

  • European Technical Assessment in cracked and uncracked concrete

  • High admissible loads with low effective anchorage depths and component thicknesses

  • Minimal spacing and edge distance

  • Fire certificate for all sizes

  • General type approval as a concrete-concrete connector (Z-21.8-2126)

  • Application permissible above a base material temperature of -20°C

  • Very fast and reliable curing, meaning there is hardly any waiting time before installation

  • Curing times are not increased in wet concrete

  • V-A anchor rods with hexagon drive for quick and easy installation

  • There is no need for subsequent drill hole cleaning when using SB hollow drill bits

Advice:

Hammer drill bits, pneumatic drill bits or SB hollow drill bits can be used to create the drill holes. Fine dust pollution is reduced to a minimum when using SB hollow drill bits, meaning there is no need for subsequent drill hole cleaning.
