Application area:
The RECAtherm refrigeration/AC/ventilation natural rubber insulation is an ideal choice for ventilation systems. It is particularly suitable for use in highly frequented public and commercial buildings as well as residential buildings, where in the event of a fire, it is important to keep escape routes visible and significantly reduce the risk of suffocation and poisoning.
As a flexible, closed-cell insulation material with low thermal conductivity and high water vapour diffusion resistance, RECAtherm refrigeration/AC/ventilation guarantees reliable protection against energy losses even with low insulation thicknesses. It also prevents the formation of condensation water or pipe corrosion over the long-term.

Advice:
RECAtherm cold rubber is generally silicone-free; only the self-adhesive film on the sheet material is siliconised, and the amount is so small that it can be disregarded. When installing the insulation, however, ensure that the self-adhesive film is completely removed and not stored in the surrounding area. RECAtherm cold rubber is not halogen-free.
