Thread-rolling screws create their own "female thread" during installation - when screwing into ready-made holes - without creating any chips. This creates an optimal screw connection in steel, high-pressure die-cast metal, aluminium, brass and copper with minimal installation costs.

Advantages:

  • No thread cutting

  • No chips

  • Low installation torque

  • Groove with standard metric thread

Advice:

Guidelines for core hole diameter
In copper and copper alloy (E-CU F30 and CuZn F38); aluminium and aluminium alloys (Al 99.5 F13 and AlMn F10) and steel (St 12 and 37). In certain cases, ideal values can only be established in laboratory tests.
Do not use the screw in applications with direct exposure to the weather or in wet rooms with atmospheres containing chlorine gas.
