The GfS Exit Control® secures the emergency exit and enables it to be opened with just one single movement.
In the locked position, the GfS Exit Control® secures the door handle; in an emergency, the door can be opened with a single movement. When the door handle is pressed down, the GfS Exit Control® moves vertically downwards and allows the door latch to move. At the same time, a continuous signal sounds. A key is required to stop the continuous alarm and reset the exit control system to its original position. Using the key, the system can be set as permanently open to allow continuous access to the door. The door can also be accessed on a single-time basis without triggering the alarm using the key and the double-action mechanism of the door lock. This means: The door can be opened in a single movement in case of danger, but the alarm signal indicates unauthorised use.
