The fire protection block is a soft, flexible, square-shaped moulded part consisting of polyurethane foam, which is offset with halogen-free fire protection additives and is intumescent in the event of fire.

Application area:

The fire protection block is the main component in the partition system for use as S30/S60/S90 cable, pipe or combination partitioning for solid walls, solid ceilings and light partition walls in several bulkhead systems.
Temporary or permanent fire partitioning of electrical cables and lines of all types and diameters as well as flammable and non-flammable pipes in accordance with the proof of usage.

Advice:

Please observe the respective proof of usability before use and fit according to specifications!

Advantages:

  • Quick and easy sealing of structural openings - no formwork or coating of the media required

  • Medium and large partitioning with medium to high covering is possible

  • Subsequent covering is possible without any problems

  • The fire protection blocks are dust- and fibre-free and can be installed directly - clean and dirt-free assembly possible

  • Combination of the fire protection block with 2C fire protection foam enables "fast sealing of large gaps" and "easy sealing of high-cavity areas"

Instructions:

The fire protection blocks can be used to seal square openings. Install the blocks taut and in layers, with the vertical joints offset. The specifications of the respective proof of usability must be observed during installation.
